St. Michaels Church in Hamburg

This is one of Hamburg's 5 Lutheran main churches.  It is the largest and most famous baroque style church in the city.  It was built Protestant unlike many other Hamburg churches which were originally built by Roman Catholics and were converted to Protestantism during the Reformation.  It seats close to 3000 people and has a crypt below with over 2000 people buried there.

These next ones are of friends on Pday.
